Pilates is a system of exercise designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, posture, and mental awareness.

Typically performed on a floor mat or using a specialized apparatus – called a “Reformer” – Pilates improves flexibility and stability by strengthening core muscles.

Pilates elongates and strengthens muscles, improving muscle elasticity and joint mobility, balancing strength while protecting against joint pain and muscle injury common of conventional resistance training.

Functional exercise also targets mind-body agility training in order to improve memory, listening and visual vigilance by strengthening synaptic functions between your nervous and muscular systems.
