Mind & Body Exercise
Therapeutic Exercise with Pilates, Cardio Yoga and Vertical Vibration Plate
Pilates is a system of repetitive exercises performed on a mat or various equipment to promote strength, stability, and flexibiltiy.
In one-on-one sessions, we work the whole body, espeically the core and spine. These sessions take advantage of tools like the Reformer, Cadilac, Exo/Wunda Chair, Oov, VibePlate and small props. Each of these has a unique way of activating and strengthening different muscles, and when used together they create to more balanced and engaging workout.
Integrated exercise also targets mind-body agility training in order to improve memory, listening and visual vigilance by strengthening synaptic functions between your nervous and muscular systems.
OtimoLife we challenge your body on “Vertical Movement” Why Is this important?
Yes, this is very important. Reason is, vertical vibration is natural movement. When you walk or run, your feet, arms, legs are moving up and down. NOT sideways or in a circular motion. Those movements are not real world, they are not real physics. Medical professionals say, because of gravity, vertical motion on a stable platform is. Therefore it does not create stress. Simply it provides micro hits of gravity that enhances the gravity that is already there in order to create the clinical and training compression that we need to excite our nerves, to mobilize joints and to strengthen our muscles to enhance our function.
